Just wanted to wish you all a fantastic Christmas and all the very best for 2025.

As a little thank you for all your support over the years, anyone that books either our Studio or Apartment for 2025 will get a 10% discount for all bookings from March until November inclusive and need to be made by the end of January for the 10% discount.

Relaxation with stunning views
I recently had an absolutely great week in Vine Ridge by myself, husband at home! It is the most wonderful place to relax and switch off. The location is just perfect, the mountains breathtaking and the lovely village of Comares minutes away. Of course all this is complimented by the space that David and Jacqui have created. As soon as I walked in to the apartment there was a sense of calm and such attention to detail, there is literally everything you need for your time here. The surrounds and pool area are beautiful and the addition of Charlie and Bruno (the dogs) just added to my sense of well being and relaxation (being a dog lover!)
David and Jacqueline are so warm and so attentive in the nicest possible way, giving you space but always available.
I could write and write about Vine Ridge as I had just the best week. away from everything! Anyway thank you David and Jacqueline, I will be back.

Vine Ridge Studio sits below our own residence and has views ranging from the Mediterranean to the various Sierra ranges which stretch across the horizon and all the various villages and towns that map out the route between them.

Today we said a sad farewell to our beautiful boy Chico, he had been with us for nearly 12 years and many of our regulars to Vine Ridge will remember him fondly, we hope! He was found dumped in a bin and we thought he would fit in well with Charlie & Bruno which he did. The three amigos are now two amigos😢RIP cheeky chops.

This was our third stay in Comares with Vine Ridge Retreats and I'd did not disappoint! Having always gone to the more rural villas it was fantastic to be on the edge of the village - the perfect location for us - still quiet but a few minutes walk to the amenities in the village. Perfect location for some early morning hikes as well!
The villa itself is a lovely spacious home - with loads of cute little areas - the kids loved the outside den space!
Loved seeing the mountain goats hanging around on the land up from the pool and also we miss the cat!!!

Vine Ridge Retreats - Apartment
From planning, arrival, staying and departing, David has been involved, helpful and gave some fantastic advice about Spain and where to visit.
We had a quick 4 day visit visiting many historical places.
Vine Ridge Retreats is 15 mins from the A7 motorway. Plenty of supermarkets within easy reach. The one in Comeras was well stocked and well priced.
The Apartment was well thought out and equipped with everything we needed for a self-catering break.The facilities were perfect. The pool area and outside areas were spacious and well thought out with us wanting for nothing!
The views form the Apartment across the valley were breath-taking. Sunrises and sunsets were amazing.
We will be back!

The welcome was warm and welcoming. The accommodation is clean and complete. You should not be afraid to arrive at the property with your car, but you also get used to it. In any case, you will be rewarded with a fantastic beautiful view. We had the pool and whirlpool bath all to ourselves and if we had any questions David was there for us.
