This was our third stay in Comares with Vine Ridge Retreats and I'd did not disappoint! Having always gone to the more rural villas it was fantastic to be on the edge of the village - the perfect location for us - still quiet but a few minutes walk to the amenities in the village. Perfect location for some early morning hikes as well!
The villa itself is a lovely spacious home - with loads of cute little areas - the kids loved the outside den space!
Loved seeing the mountain goats hanging around on the land up from the pool and also we miss the cat!!!
Thanks David and Jacqui for all your help choosing this one!

Vine Ridge Retreats - Apartment
From planning, arrival, staying and departing, David has been involved, helpful and gave some fantastic advice about Spain and where to visit.
We had a quick 4 day visit visiting many historical places.
Vine Ridge Retreats is 15 mins from the A7 motorway. Plenty of supermarkets within easy reach. The one in Comeras was well stocked and well priced.
The Apartment was well thought out and equipped with everything we needed for a self-catering break.The facilities were perfect. The pool area and outside areas were spacious and well thought out with us wanting for nothing!
The views form the Apartment across the valley were breath-taking. Sunrises and sunsets were amazing.
We will be back!

The welcome was warm and welcoming. The accommodation is clean and complete. You should not be afraid to arrive at the property with your car, but you also get used to it. In any case, you will be rewarded with a fantastic beautiful view. We had the pool and whirlpool bath all to ourselves and if we had any questions David was there for us.
David and Jacqi, many thanks for sharing your prestige home!

Vine Ridge Studio sits below our own residence and has views ranging from the Mediterranean to the various Sierra ranges which stretch across the horizon and all the various villages and towns that map out the route between them.

Alison & Howard from Wales visited 'Vine Ridge Retreats' once again from June 12 - 29 June 2024.

What can I say, 'Vine Ridge Retreats' is absolutely breathtaking, beautiful and truly spectacular!.

'Vine Ridge Retreats' sits way up high in the Andulucian mountains with 'out of this world,' views

The proud owners David & Jacqui Cullimore never ever fail to give us both an extremely enjoyable and relaxing holiday, surrounded by spectacular views basking in the most gorgeous sunshine.

The accommodation is extremely comfortable and everything has been very cleverly thought out to ensure you want for nothing as it is self catering.

Image waking from your bedroom seeing the mountains surrounded by beautiful blue skies.

Only a few steps away is David & Jacqui's very inviting pool along with whirlpool bath, as well as a very pretty seating area if you want to cook off after a day by the pool.

If of course you wish to eat out or visit nearby area this is possible either on foot, or hire car or taxi. There are also supermarkets nearby for all your stocks and beverages.

David & Jacqui also have 3 very friendly dogs, Chico, Bruno & Charlie who are an absolute delight to have around during your stay, when you will see them now and again when the walk by to say 'hello'.

'Vine Ridge Retreats' is pretty easy to find, but if you need help David is only at the end of the phone to assist and guide you up to the top where they live. The journey is another fantastic experience and so so worth it once you reach your destination.

'Vine Ridge Retreats' is an outstanding destination to visit, and would in our opinions 'knock spots' if a lot of countries we have visited.

If you want total and utter relaxation 'Vine Ridge Retreats' is definitely the place to visit and stay. Just 1 hour away from Málaga airport. Quite simply perfect!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Fabulous Villa
What can we say …. what a fabulous villa in a great location to the hilltop village of Comares. Peña Blanca has everything you could possibly need and has been well designed in terms of its layout. It is the perfect get away to enjoy peace and tranquility on our favourite magic mountain. There is a pathway up to the village however you need to be reasonably fit and will definitely need strong sturdy footwear. Thanks again to David & Jacqui who are always happy to help and accommodate. Looking forward to returning back again next year.

Breathtaking Panoramic Views!
Had a cheeky last minute weeks holiday in the Vine Ridge apartment and we were absolutely blown away by the views across the valley. David and Jacqui have an incredible villa perched high up just beneath Comares with a stunning vista taking in the mountains and the valley all the way down to the coast. The apartment was cozy and well equipped with a lovely shower room and huge comfy bed. The pool and chill area is lovely and takes full advantage of the vista. The pool is a little cool for me in April but we took full advantage of the splendid whirlpool bath. Whilst the winding graded track from the main road is narrow it was ok and we soon got used to just driving steadily up to the villa. Our friendly hosts were always around to advise or help but without being intrusive. Great spot to just chill out and unwind in nature but also handy for the beautiful Comares, being only a 10 minute drive. Also handy for nearby village/town markets and a trip to our favourite Spanish seaside town in Nerja. A great location and one we can’t wait to visit again soon!

David's place up in the hills is absolutely magic and the ideal place for everyone how wants to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape. David was extremely kind, helpful and proactive.. Will be back for sure!

Although at Vine Ridge Retreats our philosophy is to book direct with our customer and give you the best price possible without the extra commission costs linked to all the large advertising sites, we do have a good relationship with Airbnb who understand our portfolio of properties and what we offer.
