Today we had a lovely review from a recent visitor, Peter. We really enjoyed having them to stay and are delighted to see that they enjoyed their stay with us. We are so lucky that we have the best guests to stay at the Casa. Here's what he had to say:

We stayed here in first two weeks of August, and wow, was it 🔥 hot 🔥
What a fantastic holiday.
Although it seems a little way off the normal track, its accessibility to all you need is close to hand.
The village of La Xara is a 10 minute walk, or a 15 minute stroll. A scattering of bars and restaurants, and a local supermarket offering all your needs. Fresh meats, vegetables fish etc
The train stop is literally 5 minutes walk to take you 10 minutes into Denia (2 euro retun) or 1hr 20mins to Benidorm (6 euro return)
So the villa is perfectly placed to allow all access to all locations whist being remote and secluded.
A car offers it's obvious benefits, but really not needed.
The villa itself is perfect. The pool area, garden and barbecue offers plenty of space to play, relax, cook and eat. There really is nothing at all that could offer any form of complaint.
And then there's the host's. What wonderful people they are. Forever attentive, but never oppressive. Fully welcoming with a desire to ensure you're stay is as perfect as it can be, and their invitation to Tony's paella is a highlight of the stay.
You will fail not to enjoy your stay at this location, Marie-Anne and Tony will make sure that you leave with happy memories.

This amazing cactus at the back of the house was big when we bought the property 20 years ago, it's huge now and continues to be a talking point in the garden.

Much of Europe is currently experiencing a major heatwave. I know that our visitors this week will be enjoying the pool to cool off, or be lying on a sun lounger under the tree in some shade and catching the breeze
