Background story: Here we spend much time observing and studying how waves are constantly changing. In the dead of winter those changes are amplified. Big swells, heavy rains, all factors that change sandbanks. One day this break may work at this tide. The very next it’s complete s**t. Today was one of those rare days we surfed a spot that rarely, if ever works. Seeing it from the binoculars we had our doubts but up close it was a whole different story. The best part, we had it all to ourselves. Anyone who has been surfing for some time will tell you that this is a dream come true. The pic says it all.
