Have you ever seen this flower? It is huge! And so beautiful! So happy about my first dragon fruit to come. If you want to plant a dragon fruit plant too, you have to make sure that it climbs up and then down because this is when it develops flowers. 🌻🌼🌺

Hallo ihr Lieben dort draußen! Wir suchen wieder Verstärkung auf unserer Finca auf der wunderschönen Insel Teneriffa ab September (für mindestens 3 Wochen). Wir suchen vor allem nach handwerklich begabten, besser noch erfahrenen Person (gerne auch ein Paar), die uns bei Arbeiten am Haus und in unseren Gärten hilft.

Hello beautiful souls! We are looking for help on our finca on the beautiful island of Tenerife from September onwards (for at least 3 weeks). Above all, we are looking for talented or even better, experienced people (preferably a couple) to help us with work on the house and in our gardens.

We are offering accomodation in one of our beautiful rooms with private bathroom in our guest house plus a small economic compensation in exchange of 4 hours of work/day.

We are looking for people (also a couple) who would like to work with us for 4 hours a day from 15th of April till the 15th of June in exchange of accommodation in one of our beautiful guest rooms on our eco finca. I am looking for one or two responsible people (also with a child) who would like to look after our guest house with 6 rooms on an organic finca on Tenerife, our four cats and our guests for the period from mid-June to the end of August.

Ideally you have experience and enjoy working with people, with gardening and teaching yoga, maybe even offering treatments/massages.

On average, you will have 3 hours of work a day, including daily watering, gardening, keeping the guest kitchen clean and organised, checking in guests and answering their questions.

Three years ago I had no clue of gardening. I had developed a consciousness for healthy nutrition and for eco friendly consumption. But growing up and living in a city like Berlin, I was not aware of how much effort it is to make food grow when you just need to go to the supermarket and everything is available - all year long! When we arrived at the finca two and a half years ago, I was overwhelmed by this immense responsibility to keep alife or bring to life again all those precious trees I found in our new gardens. Today, while eating this salad, I realized how much I have learned from those gardens since. I learned to be patient. I learned to observe. I learned to fail. And to learn from my errors. I learned to appreciate food and to be grateful to eat freshly harvested greens and fruits from my own garden! THIS is luxury to me!! Thank you and for teaching and helping me to grow! 🙏🧡🌳🥬🥑🍋🍊

Thankful to be back home and happy to share our space with you for those workshops to come. You will have the opportunity to share beautiful moments with like minded people in a stunning location. The workshops will enable you to experience and get knowledge about permaculture, gardening and how to connect your body, mind and spirit with drums, Yoga and Qi Gong.

There will be two introductory workshops to permaculture with Hannah Wilde, an experienced permaculture expert who lives and works on the island for many years. The workshop will cover the fundamental theoretical concepts and some practical experience in our gardens.

There will also be two drum sessions with reknown local drummer Günther with whom we will fill our beautiful valley with beautiful sounds.

We will dive deeper into YogaQiFlow & Qi Gong with Marco Bartolomeo, an experienced Teacher & Therapist. He will also offer Mantra circles, to create community and good vibes:)

Introduction to Permaculture workshop and Lunch

Have you heard of the term ‘permaculture’ but you aren’t sure exactly what it means? Perhaps you are motivated to grow your own food organically or make changes in your lifestyle to leave less of a carbon footprint?

This workshop is for people who would like to know more about permaculture and how it can be applied to their own lives. It will cover the fundamental theoretical concepts which will empower you to make changes towards a life more in line with your values. The workshop will include practical activities in the beautiful gardens of ‘Casa el Riego’.

During this workshop you will have the opportunity to share the morning with like minded people in a stunning location, learn more about permaculture to enable you to make changes in any area of your life and get some hands-on experience and knowledge about permaculture and gardening.
