This week was again a week filled with (Albaicin) tapas tours. Very different clients from the USA.
I love the diversity of all clients and its dynamics.

Thanks and for the wonderful Christmas lunch/dinner at my place.

We started before lunch with a vermut of cider with some semi cured cheese from Granja Maravillas.
And as a starter ham from duck with pistache nuts, accompanied by a Chardonnay from
Moroccan soup with a Gewürztraminer from Alsace.
Breaded shrimps with coconut and mango salsa with another glass of Gewürztraminer
Chicken roast with rosamary/lemon oven baked potatos with Cesar Principe from Cigales.
Cheese platter with tawny port
Yellow fruit crumble with a glass of PX from Montilla Morilles.
And finishing with some coffee, several chocolates and a glass of whisky for me.

Thanks and for this famtrip today.
A full day starting at with a visit to their ron factory and a rich Mediterranean fruit breakfast, with even a bit of chirimoya ice-cream.
After that a visit to to get to know their premises and the winehouse, with a wine tasting and a wonderful lunch (of which I forgot to take photos of two of the four courses).
And finishing the day getting to know the installations of with an olive oil tasting followed with a cheese and olive oil experience.
Yummie!
What a great day and a perfect way to meet other professionals and get to know new family run businesses.

Terug bij mijn ouders, om mijn vader te verrassen voor zijn verjaardag morgen.
Maar vandaag eerst een heerlijk, met koffie, 7 gangen diner, door mijn vader bereid.

Last week was again a week with several tapas tours, private and group tours.
Always fun the diversity of clients, their preferences and the chats. Not one evening is the same, although we revisit some places.

Last week I took my clients on the Cahorros hike. It was not easily with the lingering knee problem, bit it was great to be back.
And the clients loved every moment of it. For one it was a complete surprise how the hike was.

After completing ofcourse there is time for a drink and a tapa.

Last Sunday and Monday it was tapas (and wine) tour again for . Sunday evening several couples from the USA and Canada and Monday lunchtime two befriended couples from Colorado, USA.
Each tour always has its own atmosphere and dynamics.
Not always all bars are the same. In this case yes we ended both tours with wonderful berenjenas fritas con miel de caña in

This week I had three tapas tour. First one with six ladies from the USA on Monday and on Thursday with .eats (Nicole and Justin) from Hongkong. Unfortunately yesterday I forgot to take a picture with David & Barbara from Australia.

On Monday we had a rough start, because of unforeseen circumstances, but it all ended well.
On Thursday we had a small delay to other unforeseen circumstances, but they were happy as well. And Friday all went as planned. Finally. ;-)

We had some great wines from Granada and Spain, vermut, tinto de verano, tapas and wonderful raciones.
They all tried some food that they had not had before or even might not have thought off.

Let me not forget to post a photo of last Saturdays tour with Maureen, Reesa and husbands. Friends who met during a trip abroad and now travel together.

Last week I visited together with Pharmacy students from Alabama, Almanzar Quaryat Dillar.
A great experience to learn more about the making of olive oil. Thanks for receiving us.

Last Monday I had a wonderful tour with Gene, Christine and two of their daughters.
They loved their introduction to the Albaicin and the baklava from the Mosque with the Moroccan tea.

They loved every drink they had and all the food. Some of the things they had never tried before.

Last Sunday the 5th of May, Liberation Day in NL, I had a tour with friends from the USA and a couple from the UK. The photo was taken in the second bar, as they preferred to have the photo taken before there was more wine in the body than the glass. ;-)

Two images of last weeks tours which I had not posted yet.
On Sunday I had a fun tour with Swedish/American in-laws and on Monday a father and his two sons.
The father was happy to have a female intruder after some days with just his sons.
