Granada Jewish Tours has welcomed many successful applicants of this admirable and very welcome program, but has also met & spoken with many frustrated families that are, after many months and sometimes years, still awaiting news. We hope that the Spanish Government honours it's offer, and expedites all remaining and future applications in a timely & honest manner.

Rally-goers and elected officials demanded to know why an Inquisition reparations initiative has seemingly been put on hold.

Oskar Schindler passed away 48 years ago yesterday.

Pictured here are survivors saved by Schindler, and people from the film "Schindler's List", standing next to his grave in Jerusalem.

He was responsible for saving the lives of some 1,200 Jews and was recognized as Righteous Among the Nations in 1993.

Today, there are more than 8,000 living descendants of the Jews saved by Oskar Schindler. ✡️

Exceptional story..

After the N**is invaded the Netherlands in 1940, a Dutch watchmaker named Corrie ten Boom and her family decided to build a secret room in their home. For four years, they would use this room to hide Jews — and save them from the Holocaust.

“The ten Boom family sheltered as many Jewish refugees as possible until they could be transported away to safety. And by the time an informant tipped off the Gestapo in 1944, they had helped rescue more than 800 people.

Ten Boom would later tell her story in a powerful book titled “The Hiding Place.”

Next year will mark the 800th anniversary of the 1222 Synod of Oxford, in which antisemitic laws were passed, such as laws forcing Jews to wear clothing to distinguish them from Christians. Now, the Church of England plans to offer repentance over the antisemitic church laws, which forced a Jewish expulsion from medieval England.
