Accommodation at La Marina Resort, 25 km from Alicante International Airport. 10 meters to the best and nicest map, Guardamar norte Two stages will be on this map. 700 meters to the beach.

For those of you who want to do more orienteering, there are about 10 trainings to choose from.

The afternoons for relaxation, the beach, tourism and cultural excursions. Isla Tabarca, vineyards, old castles etc.

We just spent three days at Camp Cuenca, putting out 170 controls on three maps (seven courses) in the nature reserve Serranía de Cuenca. Each map has its own character but overall the terrain is characterized by curious rock formations, some huge, some large, some smaller, sculpted over centuries by water, wind and ice.

Vegetation is mostly pine but also oak, savin, juniper. Terrain is technical, varied, mostly fast with good visibility but there are also areas of dense vegetation where visibility is limited.

The new map La Muela de San Felipe at an altitude of 1650 meter feels especially remote, reminds of Nordic terrain and is very fast.

Our Camp hotel in Cuenca province is situated between the maps, 15 min, 30 min, and 45 min drive to the maps. We also have a sprint map in the city of Cuenca.

Camp Cuenca is 2 hours from Madrid airport with car, perfect to combine with Camp Madrid (20 maps/trainings), for example Peguerinos (5 trainings), or Alicante (34 trainings).

Remember: Orienteering season in Spain never takes a break, and neither do we 😊. Spring, February-May, is perhaps even the best time to do orienteering in Spain, and Cuenca and Peguerinos are pleasant also in the summer.

After the butterfly Mariposa Isabelina or Graellsia isabellae (Spanish moon moth), a beautiful green nocturnal moth living in pine forests on high altitude in Spain, discovered for the first time in 1848 in Peguerinos and given names both after the Spanish queen Isabel II and the discoverer Mariano de la Paz Graells.
