Have you tried Hierbas Ibicencas? 🍹

This traditional herbal liqueur from the Balearic Islands is a delicious blend of anise, thyme, rosemary, and other herbs.

It's a drink that embodies the spirit of the Mediterranean and takes us on a journey through the beautiful landscapes and culture of Ibiza.

Fun fact: there are different recipes of Hierbas Ibicencas, and each family has their own unique recipe that has been passed down for generations. It's a true taste of tradition and authenticity that makes every sip even more special.

Oh, we love to get lost around Dalt Vila streets!

Exciting and vibrant, brash and buzzing by day, and bohemian and cosmopolitan at night, Dalt Vila represents both faces of Ibiza. All rolled into one eye-catching package.

Perched on a small mountain next to the sea and overlooking Ibiza town is the fortified old town of Dalt Vila, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Some tips if you are going up:
- Do not choose the strongest hours of sun (believe us)
- Do not go up to the top if it rains or the ground is wet.
- Going around the small streets will take you more than one hour!
- Always read the leyes that happen by the enclosure to understand the history of the walled city of Dalt Vila.

PAN CON TOMATE

When visiting out family in Barcelona (Spain), there is always a basket of fresh tomatoes and garlic served alongside the bread (never butter!). Actually, pan con tomate is one of the most popular local foods you’ll find.

Also known as “pan tumaca” or “pa amb tomàquet” in Catalan literally translates to "bread with tomato”.

Original “pan con tomate” uses tomato pulp, not diced or sliced tomatoes as we can see when traveling outside Spain. This point is very important, as Spanish get upset when seeing slices and not pulp 🤓

And, as no vacation is complete without experiencing delicious local food, ou will find olive oil in our kitchen to use when preparing your “pa amb tomàquet”. These are the steps your toasts:

You will need: bread, garlic, tomatoes, olive oil and sea salt.

1. Grab some good-quality bread and lightly toast it
2. Slice an unpeeled garlic clove in half. Then rub the clove all over the surface of the bread.
3. Rub the tomato.
4. Drizzle the oil.
5. Sprinkle with salt.
6. And serve! :)
