Happy new year everyone. Are you all longing for a bit of sunshine as I definitely am. I will be going out in February and will take some photos and a video of the newly renovated Plaza or strip as some people like to call it. From the photos I have seen it's looking very nice 😊

Hi everyone, the sun is shining again here in Lancashire, and it feels so much better to have sunshine on your face 😎 It's made me get my act together and sort out the calendar for 2025. Everything is up to date, and anyone wanting to book 2025 can now do so. You will notice that quite a few dates are already booked, these were for guests that requested them holding.

Hi everyone, this is an extremely hard post to write but I wanted you all to know that on 6th December 2023 Paul lost his battle with cancer. Paul was my husband, best friend and soul mate and had been battling cancer for years but he never once gave up and he continued fighting until the absolute end. Although Paul's cancer was rare, we never gave up on the hope that a treatment would be found and although the recent trial he had been taking part in had been showing positive results it suddenly stopped being effective and the cancer accelerated. We first met on a blind date when we were just 20 years old and would have been celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary in June. He was kind, caring, funny, compassionate, selfless, and a true inspiration and I was very proud to be his wife 💔
I just want to reassure everyone that nothing has changed with either Paul's Place or Lou's Place and I will continue to offer them both as holiday lets but please bear with me if I'm not as quick to respond at the moment. Paul was the one that put the prices on the website so that's something I'm going to have to learn. The prices are upto date until the end on 2024 but anyone wanting to book from January 2025 onwards will need to message me until its updated.

Hi everyone, sorry I'm a bit late posting this, as I have just been really busy.
Ryanair and Easyjet have now released their 2024 flights. Unfortunately, Easyjet appears to have pulled out of some UK airports that previously flew into Murcia but no change to Alicante. Manchester seems to have been one of their targets. There is still a possibility they may release some flights at a later date if the demand is there.

*News about the ETIAS visa requirements*
Basically still no date for when it starts
€7 per adult
Last for 3 years.

From early 2024 British travellers will be required to have an ETIAS visa waiver to enter the Schengen Area.

The scheme has been delayed a few times and has been pushed to 2024 but an exact date hasn't been given.

There will be an online form asking some security questions and results should be pretty speedy.

The rules for the amount of time you can spend in the Schengen Area will remain exactly the same as they are now - an allowance of 90 days in the Schengen Area within a 180-day period.

If you want to stay more than 90 days, you will need a different visa entirely. Check the Gov.uk page for the latest travel info.

Do I need to pay the fee every time I enter a Schengen Area country?

No, the visa waver fee lasts for three years, so you will only need to pay again once it expires, or if you get a new passport.

Who does the fee apply to?

The fee only applies to adults aged 18+, those under 18 do not have to pay any fees.

When will the fee start?

The scheme is due to begin early 2024

Hi everyone, whilst on holiday I know some people would like to take a trip out but have no car. There are 2 coach companies that offer day trips to water and theme parks as well as other attractions and cities. If you are interested in anything they offer, always message them before booking to make sure they are picking up in Los Alcazares because it isn't always a pickup point.
Rosa Tours does tend to list Los Alcazares as a pickup point but Daves coaches don't always say, so always best to check
