We recently used David’s coaches to travel from Los Alcázares to Aqua Natura, Murcia. Lovely little water park attached to a zoo with slides, a lazy river and kids’ areas, plus a pool.

Pick up is around fifteen minutes walk from The Base in Spain and for this trip, the total cost per person was 34E including park and zoo entry. There are various other trips running from LA including boat cruises and rafting, which we’ve done before and loved!

Review time, we drove up the coast to Aqua Natura near Benidorm (the only water park open in April 💦).

Low season prices meant we all got in for less than 70E, the flumes were near empty with no more than a minute’s wait for inflatables. They also let you bring your own food and drink as long as it’s in a small cool bag.
Kids really enjoyed it, we spent the whole day there and it was well worth the drive. We will be back next April before the crowds arrive!

The holiday season is just starting up, looking forward to welcoming some of you this year.
Here are a few top tips from our recent trip where we hired a car.

1. Visit Calblanque beach in the national park : it’s absolutely gorgeous with crystal clear water, and there’s hardly anyone there! Take supplies as there are no shops.

2. Try River rafting in Blanca (an hour’s drive) on the Segura. The kids loved it! We even had a beer and baguette stop and a swim ❤️ raftingmurcia.es
