🇪🇸⚽️🇪🇸 Spain is going to the Euro Cup FINAL!!! 🇪🇸⚽️🇪🇸
SPAIN WILL BE PLAYING ENGLAND ON SUNDAY FOR THE EURO CUP 2024 FINAL!
Spain's national men's football team has made it to the European championship finals and Spain can not be more excited for our team!
The match will be played on Sunday 14 July at 9pm/21h Spain time.
It will be televised for free on national tv (channel 1)
Many cities and towns are setting up watch parties with big screens.
Bars across the country with tvs will be showing it.
Most things will basically come to a halt on Sunday night as we all cheer on our national team!
A few tips:
If you are lucky enough to be traveling in Spain at that time, WATCH IT! There are few things as exciting as a European championship match.
Plan ahead! Some bars, restaurants, and sports bars are taking reservations. At some places tables are already fully booked. If you want to watch it out make reservations TODAY!
If you can not get a reservation/are going somewhere that does not accept them, arrive at least one hour early.
Expect excitement and massive crowds across the country.

The Medina Azahara is just outside pf Córdoba. It’s an active archeological site of what was once a great Moorish city. We often think of Roman ruins, but these are Moorish ruins!

And it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Since we believe that part of a fantastic trip to Spain is having time just to BE, we also included plenty of free time in Córdoba. That will give you time to explore its major monuments such as the exquistie Mezquita-Cathedral, cross the Roman bridge, or just enjoy charming and quaint Córdoba.

And we get it! Every traveler has a different style, vibe, or list of preferences in terms of where to stay. Whether you prefer a luxe, boutique hotel or a simple B&B, no worries! You can choose where you stay. We like flexibility, and thus, we don’t include accommodation in this experience. (But don’t worry, we can help you decide where to stay, if you need it!)

With the holiday season quickly approaching, we wanted to fill you in on Spain Less Traveled's holiday schedule and availability:

⭐️ Between 21 December until 9 January, we will not be scheduling any client calls for any of our services.
So that we can get notes and proposals out on time, our last days to schedule a service in December will be the following:
⭐️ Full Spain Travel Consultations - Friday December 15th
Spain Travel Itinerary Service (initial call) - Friday December 15th (availability for this service is very limited for the rest of this year, we only have a few slots open)
⭐️ Mini Spain Travel Consultations - Wednesday December 20th (this is the service without any followup, so we can schedule calls later into the season)

This is not the time to wait until the last minute to get on our calendar for planning help. We are booking up quickly for the remaining dates, and we will not be opening up any additional slots.

One of our favorite spots in Spain is right outside Córdoba.

The Medina Azahara is so unique because there you can see the remnants of a great Moorish city. Moorish ruins.

They are still working to restore this amazing archeological site and if you’re lucky you can see the restoration in action.

Karen, our founder was recently quoted in the The New York Times ! (The New York Times - Travel ) about the rise of traveling during off season, even if it means pulling kids out of school.

We've said it many times here, there is no longer really an "off season" of travel. This is due to many being able to work remotely and parents taking their kids out of school to travel.

We are seeing such an uptick in this, meaning that traditional "low" and "shoulder" seasons for travel no longer exist as they once did.
