We've had the house around 8 years and have come to love this sunny little corner of Spain. We're surrounded by mountains and vineyards, from the roof terrace we look across to the tiny hillside village of Casares and from the nearby beaches we can see the rock of Gibraltar. There are lots of lovely places around us; the beaches are great and stretch for miles; Estepona is bigger than Sabi and has
everything, obviously Puerto Banus and Marbella are super busy with lots of shopping, good food and a lovely old told. Malaga is a fantastic place for a night out - cheap as chips and superb food & wine - well worth at least one night out. We love the seafood places are Castillo, a short walk along the beach, or you have Duquesa with it's little port and international bars and restaurants. Sabi at the bottom of the hill is pretty simple, nice seafront, lots of tapas places, lovely beach and very easy to enjoy. Manilva itself, an old Spanish community of friendly people and no concessions to tourism here! The house is spacious with plenty of room; 3 double bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms plus a separate loo, a simple but adequate kitchen and three terraces, the best of which is up on the roof overlooking the sea and the mountains. The middle terrace is off the living room, and where we eat. The house has good wifi, there's a big TV so you can plug in a laptop if you can take an HDMI cable and watch UK TV via www.filmon.com
I'm happy just listening to the radio or spotify and there is a stereo plus speakers dotted around. Feel free to ask if you have any questions...loads of our friends have enjoyed some very happy times here!!
