Today is International Tour Guide Day.
To embrace this profession, you must love it. Those of us who dedicate our lives to it possess an indomitable and curious spirit. The desire to learn and share runs in our veins to offer our values and reveal that every town, city, region, or country is unique. We teach those who listen to us about our culture, showing them that it is neither better nor worse than any other. It is simply different from any of our neighbors.
We are not superior or inferior to anyone, simply different.

Very few things in life are truly the same: love, the air we breathe, the sky above, the rain that falls, and the ground beneath our feet. In my humble opinion, these are the only things we ALL share in exactly the same way.
We are living through challenging times, which is why today, I take a moment to express my gratitude for the privilege of sharing this common thread of unity, a connection that is mirrored when people stop to listen.
