Yet another superbe hike with the “Lecrín Valley Limpers”.
Today we were in the stunning gorge and town of the former so proud town of Alhama de Granada, that was seriously devastated in 1884. The many ruins give the majestic town a nostalgic feel, that goes so well with a beautiful late autumn day.

Colder night temperatures these days mean that we can enjoy the stunning beauty of the “angel trumpet” in the late morning sun around 10 am - normally it flowers only during the night / very early morning.

And obviously we’re not alone being attracted to its grace, charm and lovely smell - that by the way is said to be aphrodisiac….

A dear friend of ours is selling this absolutely gorgeous house in our Andalusian village in the middle of the amazing nature of the Lecrín Valley only 30 minutes from Granada city and 30 minutes away from the Mediterranean coast. 45 minutes to the nearest skiing spot.
