Mekong trip in February and March 2025.

Très difficile de faire du poisson régulièrement avec la même technique .

Principalement pellets et bouillettes, 11 kilos en tout , et peu de touches finalement , mais je termine très honorablement la journée, le lac était très calme , certains pêcheurs abandonneront même vers 18 h , sans pêcher le meilleur moment ...
L'Arapaima aura pris mon appât à 18h14 , soit 1 minute avant la fin .
Il sautera en dehors de la cage , et m'épargnera une séance photo dans l'eau juste avant de remonter en voiture

Je décide une autre approche
Je vais mettre mon énergie et mes lignes pour la carpe uniquement .
Ce fut un bon début, avec 3 carpes à la bouillette , et ensuite un très long moment calme .
J ai attendu midi pour me mettre au feeder , 1 seule touche ...
Vers 15 h 30 , je décide de me tourner vers les prédateurs et commande 1 kg de carcasse de poulet et 2 kilos de cœur de poulet .
4 Chaophraya pris, et 2 décroches
1 jolies carpe avant de mettre toute mon attention pour l'Arapaima le soir .
2 poissons sont venus sans prendre entièrement mon appât, ils sont vraiment devenus très malins .

So crazy trip again for my friend Thibaut ...
He decided to come again , third time in 4 months ...
We start at the big lake again , for only few hours before he give up with the Mekongs .
First day , he land at 9 am and we was already fishing at 11 am
At 2 pm , we decided to change of swim , and take a bungalow
Was run after run , and from 2 to 7pm , the fish destroyed his back and arms .
Day 2 , we went at 13 pm till 20 pm , and was more than enough .
Was time to take a rest , after spent some time in Bangkok, we went to Pattaya see the crazyness of that city , good laugh and few changs and jack Daniels...
I bring him in a other place and we had a Nice mixed bag
Arapaima
Chaophraya
Amazon red tail
Asian red tail
Pacu
Siamese carp
Many fish was above the 100 lbs , specially a few Mekongs , but also 1 good carp and few arapaimas .
That's more than 100 fish in 4 days , and many Changs...hahaha
Still very hot here , and yesterday was really hard to stay working the swim all day
Now, we go for 2 days at Jurassic to try get a big ARAPAIMA or a nice carp
We see the catch report from the last 2 days , and Scarface been again in the nett on swim 1 , and 2 other big carps rich happy angler's nett also .
1 team had a very busy day with many carps , so it look that the fish feed well for who know what to do .
We will be on live 2 days

Les mekongs ont gagné la partie....

Nous sommes arrivés vers 11 h .
Premier poste envahis de tilapia et peu d activité.
14 h nous prenons un Bungalow , le vent est de travers , mieux que le poste précédent où nous l'avions de face .

Je n'es pas été très gentil avec Thibaut, car j'ai pris les services d'un guide du lac pour m'aider et surtout me reposer un peu .

Résultat, 2 cannes à l'eau et des départs quasiment sans interruption

A 17 h des signes de fatigue ...
A 18 h , c est l abandon total, bras tétanisés, impossible de continuer le combat .

Ce n'est pas le premier et ce ne sera pas le dernier .
