Love the fact that so far this year the villa has managed to run with using solar energy for over 2/3rds of the electric consumption.
With the all the hot water being heated by electric plus running the aircon, pool filters and whirlpool bath it’s great to see the contribution it makes to using less energy.
Top of my list to try is some padel at the amazing new which is just 3 mins walk from the villa.
Everything you need from racquet and ball hire to private or family lessons.
Really top class facilities and so close so well worth checking out if you’re staying at the

Love a morning walk along the beach and home through the small local woods 5 mins from the villa.
Nice and shady and a beautiful smell of the pine trees.

I’m travelling over Sunday for a few days at the villa and after many years of trying different car hire companies I’m very glad I found
No stupid 1000 euro holds on your credit card, no hard sell on extra insurances and the more you use them then you accumulate discounts.

Did you know that it’s been 5 years since our fantastic building company completely redid our pool?
We lost the roman end and the tiled dolphin for a much more contemporary look with a wide first step for lounging semi submerged.
Happy memories, the kids adore the pool.

The or coastal path is such a beautiful way to start the day with a healthy walk or jog by the sea.

Check out the Senda Litoral or Coastal Path it’s an amazing project designed to stretch 200km along the coastline of the Costa del Sol.
You can join onto this beautiful path just a few hundred metres from The Villa and Apartment Cielo Azul.
They’ve really updated the beaches now as well and so much better than a few years ago.
Lots more showers, water stations and decent toilets etc.
Also proper lifeguard stations and lots of places to hire SUP boards, pedalos etc.
If you want to grab some food or drink then there’s various great beach restaurants or chiringuitos along the path.
Well worth checking out.
Just taken another booking for summer season 2024 so if you’re thinking about visiting again don’t delay.
This year a good few people were disappointed who left it late as we’re normally solid for the high season 6 months in advance.

The days are beautifully warm at the moment but quite cold at night. After a 10 year absence the log burner is recommissioned and the chimneys been swept.
Just got this from my amazing property management team of Alison and Scott Franks. Scott has also been the one retiling the villa and loads of other work. A massive thanks to Ryan Crankshaw for putting in 12 plus hour days for a week !! There’s still new beds, furniture, curtains and the new floor to go down in the apartment but gives you a great idea of the accommodation.
So a final update on the work here around the pool and lounge area. Lots that’s not in the video but still loads of snagging happening in the villa. Please let me know your thoughts and feedback. First guests arrive Sunday, enjoy !!
