• Estimated duration: 3 to 4 hours for a continuous walk, but it can be divided into shorter stages
• Path type: Wooden walkways, paved or sandy trails, and wooden footbridges (particularly between La Cala and Cabopino)
• Difficulty level: Easy, suitable for families, occasional walkers, and sports enthusiasts
2. Main Sections and Highlights
A. La Cala de Mijas to Cabopino (around 5 km)
• Atmosphere: This section is well-maintained with wooden walkways, running along the sea with unobstructed views
• Points of interest:La Cala de Mijas: A small coastal village with calm beaches and restaurants offering traditional Spanish dishes
Torre de Calahonda: A historic watchtower dating back to the Moorish era
Playa de Cabopino: A popular, often quiet beach near the charming Cabopino marina

B. Cabopino to Elviria (around 3 km)
• Atmosphere A more varied section, mixing natural beaches, rocky coves, and urban areas

Wild beaches: Several secluded beaches, perfect for a swim.
Luxury resorts: You'll pass some high-end complexes like Don Carlos or Nikki Beach
C. Elviria to Marbella (around 7 km)
• Atmosphere: This section becomes more urban as you approach Marbella
• Points of interest: Playa Real de Zaragoza: A long beach with several chiringuitos (beachside restaurants)
Marbella Promenade: A beautiful avenue lined with palm trees, featuring many cafés, shops, and sea views
Marbella Centro: The historic center of Marbella, rich in history with cobbled streets, ancient churches, and the famous Plaza de los Naranjos

• Wildlife observation: Watch for seabirds, fish, and even dolphins at certain times of the year
