Situated 15 mins drive from the stylish coastal resort of Sitges and 300 days of sunshine annually. Only 30 minutes drive from the cosmopolitan City of Barcelona. We are located in the heart of the 'Penedes' region of Catalunya famous for its wine production with many vineyards, Torres, Cordoniu and Freixenet to name but 3, a short drive away. It is an ideal base for anyone wishing to explore the region for its many activities including cycling, horse riding, hiking and of course wine tasting. Alternatively, enjoy the hustle and bustle of Sitges beaches and nightlife, then return to the tranquility of your own apartment with every facility to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Our change over day is Saturday, on day of arrival after 3pm, depart before 10am, but we can be flexible outside of high season and can accommodate looking after luggage if flight times are very late and check out/in times are not convenient. The apartment has air-conditioning for the summer/winter. The owners live behind and above the property. We have two Russian Blue cats who are very nosey and will like to meet you. A small welcome pack is provided. The animals are not allowed in the apartment at all. Accessibility

To enter the apartment there are 3 steps, then it is all on one level. All plugs are at a high level so no bending down is required for plugging in electrical appliances. The WC has been raised slightly. Outside

There is a very large South and West facing sun terrace above the apartment for your exclusive use with a Weber gas BBQ, table, chairs, Pergola and sunbed perfect for the Sun worshipers, It has great views of the sunsets and open skies for stargazing. Access is gained by your own staircase to this, the garden and pool, the swimming pool is 8 x 4m and is shared with the owners, this also has steamer chairs and sunbeds. There is also a cafe/bistro table and chairs directly outside the apartment door, ideal for coffee and croissants or afternoon tea. The is plenty of free safe parking outside the Villa, we live in a quite pleasant area. Coast/Beach

The nearest beach resort of Sitges can be reached in 15 minutes by car. There are over 17 beautiful beaches to choose from including family beaches, gay beaches, nudist beaches and rustic coves. Many beaches have sunbeds, umbrellas, showers and bars. There are many great restaurants, bars and clubs in Sitges. The promenade runs the length of the beaches and is popular for summer evening strolls and is perfect for rollerblading and cycling. A public outdoor swimming pool is 5 minutes away. Golf

There are several Golf courses to choose from within a 30 minute drive from the apartment. An fabulous 18 hole championship course called 'Terramar' which was built in 1922 directly on the sea at the south end of Sitges. Reservations are suggested but not required. driving carts are available. Closed on Mondays. A beautiful par 3 Pitch and Putt course called 'Portal de Roc' is about 25 minutes away. Its design and high quality maintenance have made it one of the best in Spain. There is also a golf course nestled in the gardens of the Dolce Hotels with fabulous sea views - 2 to 3 minutes from Terramar golf course. Special interest holidays

With its special light and micro-climate Sitges boasts over 300 days of sunshine annually and was home to Santiago Rusinol. A visit to Salvador Dali's museum in Figueres makes a great day out, Garraf National Park with walking and cycling routes. Vineyard tours. Meditate in the Buddhist Monastery in Plana Novella. Port Aventura, a Universal Studios park and Costa Cariba, its adjoining water park are a 45 minute drive away towards Salou and are great fun. Travel

In Sitges there is Carrefour which stocks many non spanish items and is open on Sundays. St Pere de Ribes also has Can Torreta, another good supermarket which is also open on Sunday. Please ask for any additional information you may require and we will do our best to help you

We require a 30% deposit to secure the booking, paid via bank transfer to our account.
