🏔️ Amazigh Traditions: The Amazigh or Imazighen, (also known as Berbers) are Morocco’s indigenous people and their architectural heritage is most prominent in the Atlas Mountains and the southern regions of the country. Their earthen kasbahs and ksour (fortified villages) are built from mudbrick and adobe, blending harmoniously with the natural landscape. Let me share a few lasting lessons I learned from my travels and living abroad:

1. Wealth has nothing to do with money. Those who have the least, share the most.

2. Death is ever present, shows up unannounced, and has no mercy. So, appreciate those you love, tell them often, and live in joy and harmony as much as possible.

3. Health and well-being are privileges, though they shouldn't be. They are everyone's birthright.

4. Time in nature can teach you everything you need to know about life. There's balance and order in wild nature that can rarely be found in any "civilized" place.

5. The ordinary becomes extraordinary when observed closely. The wonder is in the details

6. Resilience is a choice. You never know how strong you are until you have no other options.

7. People aren’t always who you think they are. So give them time to show you their truth.

8. Compassion, kindness, music, dance, and laughter are universal languages and can be shared generously.
