We are a DMC with our office based in Mallorca, we specialize in events through all the spanish mediterranean (Balearics Islands, Catalunya, Valencia and Andalucia). We are a boutique agency with a great workplace and we want you to bring your unique identity, abilities and good experience, so we can provide the best creative DMC services to our clients.
Key responsibilities are:
As event manager, be responsible for your own event project and control the entire process chain of the event (from the offer request, to planning, executing and reflecting on the event on both client and supplier level)
Responsible of searching for new suppliers and be able to negotiate with them.
High sense of compromise with the Company
Ability to coordinate several priorities and manage tight deadlines
Responsible to have organized and updated the company's Data Base of Clients and Providers
The requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in the event planning business
High level command of English and Spanish required – all other languages are advantage
Ability and willingness to travel, also with driving license and a car
Ability to work in weekends
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Fast learning and flexibility as well as ability to work independently and strong attention to details
Proactivity and good positive attitude
Up-to-date on the current status of each destination
Good financial/economical knowledge (budgeting and quoting) and analytical skills
Strong communication skills professional and informal (clients and co-workers)
Social Media knowledge is “a must”
Excellent knowledge of “Office” tools
