How often do you get to meet one of your heroes? I did just that on Friday last week, attending a @weinakademiker tasting conducted by the one and only @jancisrobinson. Wine writer extraordinaire, she created a light and informative atmosphere sprinkled with anecdotes from her amazing career. The wines were surprising and exciting, and several are on my shopping list. 🤑 We got to explore some lesser known regions and wines in the epic 17 bottle line up. Thank you so much to @weinakademie.oesterreich for an excellent excuse to reconnect with wine friends and to enjoy the beautiful winemaking town of Rust.
