palma´s cathedral at night

palma's cathedral, known as la seu, stands as a beacon of gothic architecture by night. its sandstone walls and flying buttresses are illuminated, casting a golden glow over the still waters. this majestic structure reflects not just on the surface of the water, but in the heart of mallorca's history, culture, and spirituality. built on the site of a former mosque, the cathedral's construction began in the 13th century and continued for centuries, allowing a blend of styles and the hands of many architects, including the famous antoni gaudí, to grace its form. at night, its presence is both haunting and serene, a watchful guardian over the city's slumbering streets.

shot this one in terminal 1 of the airport of barcelona. i love the reflections you find in a lot of airports. in this scene i was fascinated by the strong contrast between the let´s say informal dress of the tourists and the beautiful cold atmosphere of the prada scenery.

The food was just okay, my Chorizo Salsiccia was really delicious though. The chicken wings seemed to have been forgotten in the freezer and, as compensation, they were fried for quite a long time. I found the prices a bit steep, averaging around 10 euros each. The service was super friendly, the interior design was great, and you can relax in an open but covered outdoor seating area. Although it's right by the main road, it wasn't too noisy! I would go back again, hoping that the quality is a bit more consistent next time.

Lecanda Restaurant in Madrid was the place the best wife ever and I had our last dinner. Was a perfect choice! Is an expensive restaurant but really worth every penny. Kind and professional stuff, a truly interesting and good choice of food, excellent quality, an amazing bread served by the house, superior interior design.

If you want to experience something special in Madrid where they really care for every detail, give it a try!
