Hey there sun and fun seekers!

We're super excited to welcome you to our little slice of paradise at The Marina this September! 🎉 With over 2000 of you booked in already, we can’t wait to help you make some unforgettable holiday memories when you come!

Here are some fun tips to make your visit to our resort of Playa Blanca (and our restaurant) even better. If you’re a local, you might already be in the know, but feel free to share this with any friends and family coming to visit!

**🎂 Celebrating Something Special?**

If you have a birthday or anniversary during your visit, let us know, there’s a section for this on the online booking form where you can share the occasion, and the guest of honor's NAME. We want to make a big deal out of it with a handwritten note and a little serenade! 🎶 If you'd prefer a low-key celebration, just give us a shout! It’s chaotic to do last min celebrations when you only inform us half way through your meal that it’s someone’s birthday, as we are a very busy restaurant, let’s get it planned before hand.

**🕒 Our Hours:**

We open our doors at 14:00 and wrap up the evening at 22:00. Just a heads up, it can be quite warm on the terrace until 20:00, but cool after, so don’t forget to pack a lightweight cardigan or sweater for later in the evening!

**🚖 Getting Here:**

There’s only one taxi company to remember: 0034 928524222. Just give them your address and the number of people in your party—leave the destination to the driver. When heading our way, just ask them to take you to ‘Arabella’s!’

**☀️ Weather Alert:**

It’s HOT HOT HOT! Even if it’s cloudy, sunscreen is a must! Slather it on each morning before you head out, and don’t forget to reapply, sunburn can really ruin a holiday. And as it gets breezy, leave the straighteners at home—bring some clips and hair bands instead!

**👗 Packing Tips:**

You might not wear half of what you plan to pack, so consider lightening your load! Casual is the name of the game here. Ladies, opt for playsuits, maxi dresses, or comfy shorts instead of those short, flowing skirts - save your modesty in the wind! And if you have any items you don’t want to take back after your holiday, our friends at El Atico charity shop on Virginia Oasis would love your donations!

**💊 Health:**

You can’t easily buy medicine in supermarkets or over the counter, so pack an emergency medical kit as if you were going camping. Think sore throats, cuts and grazes, and tummy or head issues! Don’t forget to bring your GHIC or international health card from your country to ensure free access to our 24-hour public medical center and save yourselves from hefty doctor bills.

**🔍 Airtags are Your Best Friend:**

Adding AirTags or gps trackers to your suitcases, pushchairs, and bags can save you a lot of worry!

**📱 Personal Belongings:**

We often see posts about lost phones, tablets, bags, and beloved toys. No one comes away thinking they’re going to lose something, but every day someone does. Please, please, PLEASE put your phone numbers on everything! Sew them into kids’ toys, personal belongings, and slip a contact number of one of your party in YOUR phone case. Trust us, if you lose something you’ll thank us later!

**‼️ Keep your address private both home and here **

No one but your taxi driver needs to know where you are staying and when. Do not write the villa names and dates online, especially in large groups of thousands of people. We are a very safe resort, but broadcasting where you are staying with your holiday valuables is never a good idea - just like you wouldn’t broadcast when your home back in your country is going to be empty. Here empty homes are never targeted, the only things petty thieves want to steal is money, passports, aftershaves, designer holiday fits and electronics! Use your safes; keep your windows, doors, and your mouth, closed!

We have just returned form a wonderful holiday in this gorgeous villa. My 6 year old grandson walked in and said, wow! It was like a home from home. I usually pack kitchen essentials such as sharp knife sieve etc and a scrub pad for my husband to clean the saucepans. This villa had it all, everything I could possible need and very clean saucepans. The furniture was very comfortable and so were the beds. The outside furniture was also very comfortable. Jenny from the management company was very friendly and looked after us extremely well. I don't usually mention the pool man because they just come and go but ours was brilliant, he kept the pool and the hot tub spotlessly clean and gave us loads of tips of places to visit and other general information. We will return to Lanzarote in the future and definitely book this villa again. We certainly booked a gem!
