Now that the election has been won, it looks like the mayor doesn’t care about what happens in his town and thus shows indifference towards those who voted for him. For three weeks a pile of rubbish, which is growing every day, has been overflowing from the container placed in Hispasat Street here in Terreros. Why the container is there nobody knows. Flies and other creatures thrives here. IT STINKS AND IT IS A HEALTH HAZARD. But the mayor DOES NOTHING.

This pile of rubbish has been in Calas del Pinar for more than a week. I have written to the Pulpi Ayuntamiento and directly to the mayor, nobody cares because they don't live there. It stinks and it's a health hazard. PULPI PLEASE DO SOMETHING. The pile is constantly growing, because for some reason a skip has been put there for no reason at all. Please REMOVE THE SKIP AND THE RUBBISH.

Does anybody miss a white medium sized dog with one black ear? He is running around in the Castillo area in San Juan de los Terreros, he has been here about 4-5 days. He seems friendly, but frightened and probably hungry, but he will not let me touch him.

Our Story

We would like to introduce ourselves to you. We are Dominic and Jane Grimoldby managers of the Almeria Sol business and we live in San Juan de los Terreros. The Almeria Sol business was started in 2008 & we took over the management of the company in 2012. We purchased our home in San Juan de los Terreros in 2008 and initially rented it to clients during the summer months. We subsequently moved permanently into our Spanish home in January of 2011. We take great pride in the business & know all the house owners on a first name basis. We also have been active in promoting & expanding the holiday rental side of business. Currently we manage about 55 properties, with half rented out when the clients do not wish to use the property themselves, thus creating an income which pays for the running costs of their holiday home. We offer all services which you would expect from management & rental agents & anything we cannot complete ourselves we engage local professionals.
