A lovely spot to enjoy the sunshine and relax. If it gets too chilly you can sit inside the covered area. Three TV’s also if you want to watch some football. Very accommodating and excellent friendly staff.

Then perhaps head off for something to eat? Indian, Italian, Mediterranean, Chinese, A La Carte……. Plenty to choose from!

We are so lucky to have this airport on our doorstep. Murcia (Corvera) is just 15 minutes away from the house. From taking off from Manchester Airport 2 weeks ago to arriving in the house, it took just 3.5 hours! Alicante is 1 hour away so it’s so convenient to have Corvera. It’s the quietest airport we’ve been in also!

Looks in good condition. Hacienda is one of the three GNK courses in the area and a 15 minute drive from the house. The other 2 are, La Torre Golf (obviously on your doorstep 😀) and El Valle Golf just 10 minutes up the motorway.

You can get a deal to play all 3

We recently ventured up to Murcia and 100% recommend Terra Natura Murcia!! Lovely Zoo and Water Park. Great for the kids but still a nice trip out for all.

Animals were out and about, some already getting some 💤 in. 6 slides to choose from in the Water Park 💦 Some need inflatable rings that you can hire at a small cost. Open 11am until 9pm. You can pay a bit extra and do a night time ‘safari’. Lots of animals to see and the open ‘plain’ was great with plenty of animals roaming amongst each other.

25 minutes from the house! Everything seems to be around 20 minutes away here at La Torre 😆

We had a lovely couple of hours chilling out here at La Laguna Chiringuito yesterday. This chiringuito has been done up and is clean with good service. Food and drink available and super views of the Mar Menor! Would highly recommend. 20 mins away from the house.

The 9th hole on our course as seen from the terrace of the BlueCollar restaurant. 180 off the Whites, 145 Yellows, 131 Blues and 96 from the Reds. A tough test on the tee with the eyes of some of the guests at the Hilton Hotel Pool placing bets on whether the ball will end in the lake!

A tough gauntlet to take on. Walk away with a Par or better and you have done incredibly well!

Many people have heard of La Manga and immediately think of the La Manga Club, with its 3 excellent golf courses often featured on the European Tour.

But ‘La Manga’ is the strip of land that separates the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor, ‘the minor sea’, Europes largest salt water lagoon.

Its length is 21km and no more than 100mtrs wide. It has many hotels and apartments and plenty of eateries. You can catch the small ferry from Los Alcázares across the Mar Menor for a visit. The views back across the lagoon are unbelievable

Spent the morning up at Salto del Usero, River and small waterfalls 💦 The water was incredibly cold but the kids went in 😆 only €9 for family of four and parking. You do get a guide for a small tour of the area before you are free to have a very refreshing dip! 50 minutes from the townhouse. Online booking advised.

We then took a detour through the mountains at Sierra Espuña for some breathtaking views and a picnic very high up. Not for the faint hearted driving up there with the sheer drops 😟

Back for a little siesta and an hour or so in the pool to cool off before heading out for dinner and drinks in one of the many eateries on La Torre.
