We are so sad to have lost our lovely Basil yesterday. He met many of our friends and guests, a star member of our team, he could squeeze through fences and find his way on to laps and in to dishes! He loved everyone and everyone loved him. We’ll all miss him terribly, a tiny dog who will leave a huge hole. Rest in peace Basil ❤️

Today we were shocked and so terribly saddened to hear of the passing of Rosi. Her voice and presence were synonymous with our magical evenings of flamenco at La Cazalla. I will never forget hearing her voice echoing around the hills of the Tajo del Abanico, the hairs on my arms standing on end, emotional tears pouring down my face. What a legend. Our thoughts are with her family at this sad time.

Two of the prettiest villages in Spain, Genalgaucil and Setenil de las Bodegas are just half an hour’s scenic drive from Ronda. Setenil constantly features on the ‘prettiest villages’ list, although in every direction you drive (or hike) from Ronda you will find gorgeous scenery dotted with white villages, all with great bars and restaurants for stops for cervezas and tapas.

This little snippet just landed of Jess & Nick’s wedding two weeks ago…and we are blown away 🤩 We saw hardly any of it ourselves as we were working behind the scenes (it poured with rain just an hour before the guests arrived 😳) but wow, what a wedding!!!!
