🇪🇸 Esta diva emplumada es la Gallina de Guinea Crestada (Guttera pucherani) — conocida por su crestita rizada, mirada intensa y actitud de pasarela. Originaria del África subsahariana, pasea en grupo por bosques y sabanas, picoteando insectos, semillas… y quizás algún que otro cotilleo.
Y no, no vuela mucho — porque cuando tu pelo se ve así, ¿para qué correr?
¿Plan viajero?
Las pillamos justo cuando se preparaban para el finde:
— Una con rulos.
— Otra con cresta punk.
— Una más con trencitas y abalorios.
— Y la última, claramente lista para la fiesta.
— Incluso la pintada vulturina empezó a ir a la pelu, que ya se cansó del look casco de moto.
Dato curioso:
Aunque parecen salidas de un desfile, prefieren ir a pie, se comunican a gritos y siempre caminan con estilo.

We caught these birds mid-prep for a weekend getaway:
— One’s got rollers in.
— Another’s working the mohawk.
— Someone braided up with beads.
— And one’s clearly ready to party.
— Even the vulturine guineafowl started going to the salon—tired of that motorcycle helmet vibe.

They may look like the queens of the runway, but they’re all about the ground game—walking, calling out, and looking fabulous every step of the way.
