Direct flights from Tenerife to New York coming in 2022

United Airlines are commencing direct flights from June 2022, operating 3 times per week between Tenerife South Airport and Newark International.

Flight time will be approximately 7 hours and flight capacity will be 169 people per flight on a Boeing 757.

The flights will be on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 12pm from Tenerife, returning on a Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 9:50pm (local US time.)

Ticket prices will be in the region of 600€ for a round-trip ticket.

Tenerife drops to Level 1!
All good news!

If you're coming over, it's hot and sunny, between 24c and 28c

There's nowhere better in Europe right now than the Canary Islands!

Level 1 restrictions are now ver light:
Max. 10 for a table on the terrace, 6 for a table indoors and 4 for a bar. Close at 02:00 h. 100% terraces and 75% interior. Nightlife is allowed until 2:00 a.m., although customers must remain seated, there will be a registration and there will be no dance floors. In these places the tables will be for 10 people inside and 4 on terraces.

Quick update on wearing Masks in Tenerife...

This week we had an update to say you now need to wear a mask at the beach and around the pool - this was all across Spain.
This afternoon, there has been some clarification that this DOES NOT apply in Tenerife if you are sat around the pool or sat at the beach...

You should wear one when walking to the beach, to and from the pool etc - which was the case anyways.
