On this day in Spain, people celebrate that the three kings from the East visited baby Jesus after he was born and gave him gifts of gold, incense, and myrrh. 🎁

Today, the three kings bring presents for children who have been good this year. 🥰

Usually, the three kings arrive on January 5th, the day before the holiday. But due to the weather, this has been changed, and they will parade through the city today (January 4th). ☔️

Visit a Christmas market - There are various Christmas markets set up around the city with fun souvenirs and tasty treats. 🎅🏽

Plaza de San Francisco - Every evening, a light show is organized here between 7:30 PM and 11:00 PM! ✨

Sevilla on Ice - At the Muelle de las Delicias, there is a large ice skating rink. A fun activity to try! ⛸️

Magna ✨

To close the international congress of brotherhoods in Seville, a grand “Magna” procession will take place on December 8th.

The religious figures will be brought to the cathedral on Saturday, December 7th, and during the night leading to December 8th, in several smaller processions.

On Sunday, December 8th, the Magna will start at 4:00 PM. The 8 religious figures and the cross will leave the cathedral every 20 minutes. Together, they will form a large procession and move towards the bullring (Plaza de Toros).
After reaching the Triana Bridge, each religious figure will take its own route back to its home church.

Among the figures in the procession is the famous Esperanza Macarena, one of Seville’s most beloved icons.
This promises to be a historic day for Seville, as these 8 special religious figures are rarely seen together in the same place. It’s an extraordinary and rare event.

On Sunday, December 8th, we will share the schedule on our Instagram. Please be prepared for large crowds in the city❗️
