It’s hot, hot, 🥵 so how do we survive the heat ?

🥵 We ALWAYS stay out of the sun between the hours of 1pm and 5pm.
🥵We stay indoors with the aircon or fan on and generally have a siesta.
🥵 We drink lots of water.
🥵 It seems counterintuitive but we shut up the house, pulling curtains and blinds
to keep it as cool as possible.

We come out of hiding at about 5pm and usually have what the Spanish call ‘mirienda’, a light snack like coffee and biscuits 🍪

The pool by night after a very hot day. There’s no better place to be on a hot day and thankfully this pool is just 3 minutes walk from the house. We enjoy all the benefits of the pool without the expense and having been newly renovated last year, it’s a great asset right on our doorstep.

I’m not much of a sea swimmer so I prefer the pool.

But what is your preference, pool or beach ?

This was the experience of one of our guests that we have just had the privilege of visiting this week in their own villa.

Our ratings are 💯 and everyone who comes here, loves it. (We had a spammer rate us who never stayed in Casa M and we can’t get rid of his rant but I’ve reported it to FB.)

Last Minute Break due to Cancellation
22 August - 31 August 2024 or even into September.

🏖️ We are located in Moraira, a small thriving upmarket town on the Costa Blanca North.

✈️ You would fly to Alicante, hire a car and we are a one hour drive from the airport. It’s an easy straightforward drive.

✈️ There are flights at the moment from Sunday 25 August to Monday 2 Sept for £96 - bargain !

☀️ The house caters for 4 people and is fully equipped with a private garden to the rear and a communal swimming pool just redesigned last year.

🏝️ Moraira is within walking distance and has a wide range of restaurants and cafes and many stunning beaches to choose from.

You won’t be disappointed with Moraira. We’ve been going here for 14 years now and never get tired of this stunning place.

On the 30th of April expired the last agreement about Uk licences was signed between Uk and Spain. Since then, millions of British have visited our country, and most of them have driven vehicles in our territory.

The DGT has confirmed that they have received only 30 fines for the International Driving Licence issued against British drivers.
Thirty among the millions of British drivers were issued, and sometimes even for the same officers.

Therefore, please stop posting comments criticising the Police work about this issue, because some officers had a wrong interpretation of the law. We are more than 230.000 police officers in the country so please be respectful towards us in your comments.

We remind you that this page is run by police officers that in their free time translate and help the international community who follows us.

From the very first moment, we were aware of these traffic offences, N332 invited those affected to contact us to help them, even posting how to do it by themselves step by step. We have spent a lot of days and hours creating the posts and answering all of them.

Sadly we have had to block the comments of some people who were being disrespectful towards the Police by using inappropriate language.

The screenshot shown is from the Spanish government website "La Moncloa". Many people have asked us about any document they can print and show to the Police in case they are stopped.
