We need you to vote! Dear Owners, This year more than ever we need you to vote. There are two key issues on the agenda. These are 1) Security and 2) the Community Support Office Security In line with owners wishes, a tender for security was issued in September 2024. MM1, MM2 and La Goleta jointly assessed the tenders and agreed on three companies to put forward. Now it is time for you to decide on the security company you prefer. 1) Securitas has the highest technical capability and the highest price. 2) Vigilant (current provider) has the second highest technical capability (24% lower than Securitas) and are €56k (17%) cheaper than Securitas 3) Horus has the lowest technical capability (20% lower than Vigilant) and are €14k (5%) cheaper than Vigilant. Security Tender -Summary Securitas Vigilant Horus Technical Capability Score (Max 40) 33 25 20 MM1 (45% of total tender) € 339,300 € 283,500 € 269,550 Monthly Cost Per Property (Note 1) € 37.5 € 31.3 € 29.8 TP Score (Note 2) 4.4 4.0 3.3 Note 1: Based on a common secuirty provider across all communities Note 2: Shows Technical Points per €000,000 Community Support Officer As requested by an owner at the AGM the Community Support Officer role has been reviewed by the committee. The tasks undertaken have been detailed and circulated as a job description for the position. The Community Support Officer is an independent dedicated role to serve you, the owners. It is the committee’s view that should the community vote to make this position redundant the majority of tasks will need to be undertaken by the Administrator instead, increasing costs significantly. We would encourage owners to keep the position, not only from a financial perspective but from a strategic one too. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you would like the community to keep the role you should vote AGAINST the amortization of the position, if you would like the community to make the role redundant you should vote IN FAVOUR of the amortization.
