This is the new ceiling fan in the living room. 😊

🌴So our kitchen in Torrevieja now has some new furniture: a whole wall with shelving, two drop-leaf tables, two stools to sit on, and a striped carpet. The shelf also has a small station with tea and coffee. ☕️

☀️We feel the apartment is ready to welcome all nice summer guests coming to enjoy their Spanish holiday by Playa del Cura this summer. Of course we ourselves also look forward to coming back this summer. 🤩

Some styling, and some improvements in the apartment! 🤩The new beach chair has a strap so you can carry it over the shoulder. All beds now have new soft and nice toppers which we brought from Ikea in Sweden. Also the new ceiling fans in all 3 bedrooms were to our liking - really cooling.

We did some decoration: more art on the walls, new table cloths on the dining table and the balcony tables, new lamp shades for the table lamps in the two smaller bedrooms. Also added various items for cooking and eating or drinking.

Remodeled the master bedroom this summer. All furniture is from the big Swedish furniture store in Murcia. We are very happy with the improved look, and the comfortable Swedish style mattress and topper.

Wednesday is market day in La Mata, only a 15 minute bus ride from our apartment by Playa del Cura.

Yesterday we visited Los Locos beach, just 500 m from our apartment. Usually we go to Playa del Cura Beach which is just one house away from us, but variety is nice too. Squares on the beach are for covid safety.

Now the lovely morning walks on the 1365 m long pier in Torrevieja will be even lovelier once it gets a face-lift.

Today we walked the Torrevieja pier which is 1,6 km long. On the way back we stopped for coffee at La Bocana just below the pier.

In the same house as our apartment in Torrevieja is the lovely restaurant Estocolmo with traditional Spanish dishes like paella.

Doing a little home decor. New table cloth for the new table, soft cushions for the kitchen stools, one new beach chair, and a Torrevieja wall sign with beach feeling.
