Michael's Holiday Apartment in Spain

and finally... the 'deed' is done (as they say)... so it only remains to say ..."thanks again, good health and bye-bye".... with a picture of my amazing Mum sitting on that same bench... and of myself too 🙂 The central pic and the two on the right were taken the last time we travelled to Torrevieja, (coming back just as the pandemic was starting), and on the left a few years ago, and in 2010 of my Mum and Dad -who spoke 12 languages, (about 6 fluently) and loved it there as he had great fun discussing translations with the waiters, who tended to know 2-3, and were always most keen to improve, (his main resource was Asterix magazines, fairly common Europe, having them in about 10 languages)

there are all types of top class sporting facilities in the well resourced city of Torrevieja, Spain (nr Alicante) with lots of coaching for all ages. There's an Olympic quality swimming pool not far from the Apartment, and also, the Marina with sea sports is just 100 metres walk away.

the end of the Harbour wall walk (Dique de Levante) over 1/2 mile out to sea, as beautiful ( and clean) at night as during the day. It starts just 80 metres from the Apartment building.

when it rains in Torrevieja the town square ( 7 minutes walk from the Apartment) can be lively with a lot to offer, and there's so much more in this exciting town and city

Tenemos por delante una noche de cielo despejado y de ambiente fresco, no tanto por la temperatura, sino por el viento que se deja notar a esta hora. Se espera que la temperatura durante la madrugada baje hasta los 18ºC.

Here’s a fabulous walk (or jog, or cycle ride) out to sea, the apartment building is the tall one, just about 60 meters from the start of this Dique de Levante

The Levante Dam is the most frequented places, also called "The cholesterol route", as it is recommended by doctors as very healthy daily exercise.

Here is the end of the Dique de Levante (the end of the harbour wall, after 3/4 mile walk out to Sea... for walking, jogging etc. it forms a giant sea ‘lake’ around the harbour, which is ideal for water sports.…and more.. click on the link below …..for some suggestions from the Torrevieja tourist board about what to do this weekend….
