These five enthusiastic ladies from Paris 🇫🇷 went on a bike tour! Guided by one of our French-speaking guides, the girls enjoyed a sunny day. Did you know that we offer tours in your own language?

We speak German, English, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch. In this way you can enjoy the experience without missing out on anything due to language barriers.

Today; the Impressive ceiling of the Basilica of Valencia at Plaza de la Virgen.

It´s official name is Basilica de la Virgin de los Desamparados and it was built entirely in the Baroque style (1652- 1667) and therefore does not meet the strict standards due to its exuberant decorations... also because the dome that should be sketched and placed centrally above the exact center, on the beautiful Marian mantle, is placed off-center and closer to the adjacent cathedral.

Just next to the Basilica you will also find Puerta de Los Apóstoles where the water tribunal is held every Thursday. Completely in style with the multiple meanings of the word basilica, which also means -house where justice is administered-, a water tribunal, Tribunal de las Aguas de Valencia, is still held, as in olden times, every Thursday at 12:00, where local farmers present their disputes to the court and can also expect a verdict. All this is done in traditional clothing and is free of charge for the public!

Evert van Gasteren drove from the south of Spain to Valencia with his family and their good friends. These Dutch families had booked two apartments in southern Spain including a swimming pool for the children!

🚲 For Gijs and his family we arranged 2 different Cargo Bikes… one with a back seat and one with a comfortable big seat in front. The 2 cute girls got a small present…. they both got a good old rubic cubic and in this way they could enjoy being outdoors busy with their new toy, totally safely driven by dad and granddad. We drove along the highlights and the adults could enjoy their tour without being worried about the 2 girls.

Family adventures just got easier nowadays… but, on top of that we assure you fun for all. Contact us for your special request and together with you we will find you the best solution. Great succes guaranteed!

🚲 Voor Gijs en zijn gezin regelden we 2 verschillende bakfietsen… één met een achterzitje en één met een comfortabel groot zitje voorin. De 2 schattige meisjes kregen een klein cadeautje…. ze kregen allebei een good old rubic cubic en zo konden ze lekker buiten bezig zijn met hun nieuwe speeltje, helemaal veilig getransporteerd door papa en opa. We reden langs de hoogtepunten en de volwassenen konden genieten van hun tour zonder zich zorgen te maken over de 2 meisjes.

⛰️Last weekend we went on hike with two lovely guests from Lyon, France to one of the most beautiful and surprising mountains in the area. As Valencia has lovely weather the whole year through a walk in the mountains is ideal to warm up in the sun, to breath some fresh air and to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

⛰️ Afgelopen weekend zijn we met twee lieve gasten uit Lyon, Frankrijk, op hike geweest naar een van de mooiste en meest verrassende bergen in de omgeving. Omdat Valencia het hele jaar door heerlijk weer heeft, is een wandeling in de bergen ideaal om op te warmen in de zon, wat frisse lucht in te ademen en te ontsnappen aan de drukte van de stad.

These beautiful ladies drove from their holiday address in the south, especially for a bike tour with us. Do you know on which square they are standing?

Of course you know… one of the most emblematic squares of Valencia… Plaza de la Virgen!

Here you find the big recognizable fountain Father Turia, but also the Basilica de la Mare de Déu dels Desemparats which is joined to the cathedral by a passageway above a Renaissance arch.

One can climb the 207 steps tower for a great view over the city and… as many of us know; the cathedral houses a holy treasure…

Renata from the Netherlands visited our city a couple of weeks ago. Renata rented our 2 Cargo bikes in order to let the whole family enjoy our tour in an easy and comfortable way! With our family cargo bike you can explore our sunny city safely with 2 little ones on the back or 1 adult.

Our electric cargo bike is perfect for individuals with an injury or disablitily. As soon as we met this family we were impressed by their open minded, sweet characters, enthusiasm and positivity. 🧡

Together we went to explore the outskirts of Valencia, visited our own “little Venice”, Port Saplaya and enjoyed cocktails on a terrace.

And which was the gang with the coolest bikes on the Valencian roads that day… no doubt: we were!

Are you in doubt to come to Valencia… because of the recent flood? We assure you that you can enjoy Valencia just as it always has been. Transport from the airport to the center is easy by taxi or bus and all services- except the metro- are running.

The Valencians need your support… especially now! Restaurants, bars, shops and the tourist business are more than happy to serve you. Today an honest and sweet review from Yolanda from the Netherlands 🧡:

¨We spent 5 days in Valencia in a nice authentic apartment in the historical district el Carmen. This all just at the time of the flood disaster that had occurred further away.

June from Get Involved Valencia was able to informally and reassure us well. The apartment was perfectly located, everything within walking distance. We got to know June as the manager of the apartment. It was nice to have a direct contact person before and during our holiday who answers all questions very quickly and helps out if needed.

June was very friendly, accessible, service-oriented and helpful. It all felt very warm and friendly. And that is why we also choose her bike tour through the city. Again very helpful and service-oriented. They do verything for the customer and it our first time in Valencia was a very nice experience!¨
