Transport:

Reopen to traffic the north entrance bridge of Torrent, over the ravine of Poio, and the CV-403.

The Generalitat has enabled the bridge that connects the municipalities of Torrent and Alaquàs, which passes over the Poio ravine. The opening of this infrastructure has made it possible to completely restore traffic on the CV-403, which has been closed since last October 29 due to the serious damage suffered due to the DANA.

The construction of a temporary slab at the kilometer point 4+270 of the CV-403, where the structure was damaged, has allowed the bridge to be passable again for light vehicles. At the moment, a provisional lane has been enabled in each direction that will connect Alaquàs and the southern roundabout of Torrent, although heavy vehicle traffic remains restricted on the bridge, as reported by the Generalitat in a statement. The work for the total recovery of the structure, with a large dent caused by the rains, will continue in the coming months.

Mobility restrictions and open roads;

As for mobility, the order of restriction remains until Sunday on the CV-400, CV-403, CV-33 and CV-36 to facilitate the work of the emergency services and public transport. CV-33, CV-390, CV-400 and CV-407 have already been partially opened to enable the connection of the affected counties. In the last few hours, the bridge at the northern entrance to Torrent has also been enabled, which allows the complete reopening of the CV-403, closed since October 29.

On the A-7, which facilitates the connection of the A-7 with the A-3 at the height of Quart de Poblet, passenger cars can now circulate without restrictions. However, goods trucks that make long-distance journeys along the Mediterranean corridor and do not have Valencia or the metropolitan area as their origin or destination can only travel on the A-7 bypass from Monday to Friday between 6:00 p.m. at 06:00 hours, while on weekends they will be able to circulate 24 hours a day.

News:

Mazón apologizes for the management of DANA, but blames the protocols and the Gambling Confederation.

The head of the Council, Carlos Mazón, has recognized in the Courts "mistakes in the management of the DANA", and at the same time has warned that the magnitude of the catastrophe exceeded "the capacities of the established protocols" and has accused the Hydrographic Confederation of Xúquer (CHX) not having alerted in time of the flooding of the Poio ravine.

"I will not deny mistakes, neither is it possible to do so nor would it be useful", said the president in the first moments of his intervention in the Courts, the first to give explanations for the catastrophe, in which he announced a commission of investigation to find out what failed in the forecasting and management of "the worst flood since 1962 in Spain" and changes in the Council [ a new vice-presidency and a ministry of Emergencies ] to manage the post-catastrophe A crisis that, as he explained, "surpassed all forecasts and the prevention, alert and response systems that had been activated during the 1982 flood". "We did the best we could in the situation we were in, with the information we had and the resources we had, but it wasn't enough," he said.

The care offices for affected people remain open.

The DGT enables a web search engine to locate vehicles affected by the DANA.

The General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) has enabled on its website, in the section created for extraordinary procedures, a search engine to locate vehicles affected by the DANA on interurban roads. At the moment, the list only has the information of the vehicles that were circulating on interurban roads at the time of the DANA that the agents of the Traffic Group of the Civil Guard have removed and moved to different depots. The list includes 2,500 vehicles that circulated on interurban roads at the time of the DANA and that the Civil Guard has removed and moved to different depots.

"We do not live in a failed system, the Generalitat is not a failed system, the one who has failed is you, Mr. Mazón." With these words, the general secretary of the PSPV, Diana Morant, addressed the president of the Generalitat this Saturday. "Mr. Mazón cannot continue, it is a popular cry."

The socialist leader has assured that the president of the Generalitat did not "give answers" in this Friday's appearance in the Courts and once again put on the table the impeachment of Mazón, the creation of a technical council to lead the reconstruction and the calling of elections for 2025.

The Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, has reiterated the Spanish government's commitment to the Valencian Community as seen - he said - with the rapid opening of state-owned infrastructure. Among these, he cited the high speed between Valencia and Madrid and the bypass of the A-7. "It has been an engineering job", he assessed.

Likewise, he recalled the six offices that are added to the ten already existing so that people affected by the DANA can process aid and these arrive in a short period of time. They will be located in Alaquàs, Albal, Aldaia, Alfafar, Algemesí, Alginet, Benetússer, Carlet, Catarroja, Xiva, Massanassa, Paiporta, Picanya, Sedaví, Torís and Utiel.

🟡 Aemet downgrades rain warnings again and sets the lightest, yellow.

The State Meteorological Agency, Aemet, continues to lower the warnings in the Valencian Community and now only maintains the yellow warning, the mildest. Thus, we have gone from the red with which we got up, to the orange, decreed around half past seven in the morning.

Thus, until 5 p.m. there is a yellow warning on the northern coast of Alicante and in the southern half of Valencia for precipitation of 20 liters per square meter in one hour, in the northern interior of Valencia for precipitation of 30 liters in one hour and on the north coast of Valencia for rainfall of 20 liters in one hour and 60 in twelve hours.

Until 24 hours today, there is a yellow warning on the north coast of Alicante and the south of the province of Valencia for accumulated 60 liters per square meter in twelve hours.

The Benetússer sewer absorbs the rain: "It's good news".

"In the early hours of the night, with the first heavy rains, we had some small reservoirs in specific areas, which the neighbors warned us about, but when the rain stopped, the sewer system did filter the water" , explained Márquez.

"Then, where there has been heavy rain, in specific areas, and it was not persistent, the sewers worked perfectly," he added.

Up to fourteen rescues related to the heavy rainfall in Baix Maestrat.

The firefighters of the Consorci de Castelló have, in the last few hours, rescued up to fourteen people who had been trapped by the cold water that hit the region yesterday. So far, the troops have carried out 93 services, although they have not yet finished all the pending interventions, as sources from the body admit.

Thus, firefighters are still working in Vinaròs, Benicarló, Pen*scola and Alcalà de Xivert. In many cases, they are required to empty the water from negated points; one of them, one of the access tunnels to Benicarló, "totally flooded up to its height of almost five meters", according to the consortium.

Restrictions on mobility are lifted.

Once the rain alert was downgraded to orange and then yellow, the body that manages the emergency arising from the DANA on the 29th, has agreed to remove the restrictions on mobility that had been established to guarantee safety.

The cleaning sector is looking for 5,000 qualified workers.

The cleaning sector in Valencia has made an urgent appeal. It is looking for, for the immediate incorporation, at least 5,000 qualified workers to join the cleaning and sanitation tasks in the municipalities affected by the DANA.

The employers in the sector, Apelva and Afelin, have stressed "the need to have specialized and experienced personnel to carry out in-depth cleaning tasks in a safe, effective and professional manner".

In this context, the president of Afelin, Jesús Martín, has warned that "the cleaning of the affected municipalities becomes not only a fundamental task to recover normality, but also a necessary measure to safeguard public health, prevent risks of diseases and restore economic and social well-being".

The performing arts from all over Spain collide for Valencia.

They are organising a solidarity gala, which will be held on November 25 in Barcelona, and which aims to collect funds for the Valencian companies in the sector that have been hit by DANA.

Firefighters rescue two people in Quart de Poblet and Oliva.

The firefighters of the Consortium of Valencia rescued a driver trapped in Carrer de Pinadeta in Quart de Poblet early this morning, according to sources from this body. Also in this municipality they have had to check several blocked roads, such as Joaquim Sorolla Street, due to this morning's rainfall.

It was not the only rescue of the day. In Oliva, where the firefighters have checked several landslides, they have also helped a man who had been trapped in the elevator, specifically in the garage, which was already partially blocked, as detailed by the consortium.

Nine minors among the victims of the tragedy: the X-ray of the catastrophe.
