A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL
Hopefully, you would have seen Linda’s recent letter announcing her well-deserved retirement. Though we know she will be sorely missed, my partner Gail Campbell and I (Chris Samson) are very excited to have taken over Casa Cooper and its Spanish counterpart Vejer Casas, and we wanted to take this opportunity on the first day of 2022 to introduce ourselves and wish you and your families a Happy New Year.
Gail and I came to Vejer in September 2019 for a sabbatical and never left, and now live full time in Vejer, a town we adore. For us, the business is the perfect opportunity to promote Vejer, and all it has to offer.
Gail is bilingual (English/Spanish) and has a background in business development. My background is in marketing and events management. We believe we can use our skillset to increase bookings for all of our clients and ensure everyone coming to this wonderful Pueblo Blanco will keep coming back.
We will change very little, and there will be no changes in the excellent maintenance and cleaning teams.
Gail and I will focus on increasing Casa Cooper’s and Vejer Casas’ online presence by linking it to year-round ‘what is happening in Vejer and the Cadiz province’ which will promote not just the properties but also all the region has to offer. As Linda kindly said, ‘We have the time, energy, and expertise to take the rental business forward’.
