Whenever we're here, we make it a point of honour to use each of our terraces at least once! Each has a "family" name that we must have been using for nearly 20 years now!! We'd call this the "casa breakfast terrace" (with views through to the "top terrace")

We're nearly in November, but there are still activities taking place at our local reservoir in Iznájar.
This is to celebrate 50 years since the creation of the reservoir (used for water storage, hydroelectric power and recreation)

I am delighted and amazed at how quickly the next Spanish retreat has sold. There are only two spaces left, the dates are 2nd-9th May and we are flying from Exeter. The travelling is easy and the entire package is done for you. What is not to love?

I want to book the flights soon (they will be cheaper) so if you are hovering on the fence whether to come or not. Do it now. The cost is broken down into 3 installments this year to make things easier.

"Just Superb! El Molino del Conde is a beautiful retreat full of character which could not have worked better for our group of 18 adults [...] local manager Kimberley could not have been more helpful in terms of practical local knowledge and helping to organise transport, including a small coach to the Alhambra, catering and even a classical guitarist accompanied by flamenco dancers post an amazing birthday lunch!

The setting is beautiful and the property with its extensive grounds allows for a large group to come together but also has plenty of quiet shady corners to just be. It has been an amazing week at El Molino Del Conde, sharing it with such fantastic people. A huge thank you to everyone who came and made it so special. To El Molino del Condefor the use of your wonderful place, and Kimberly for her support. Thank you also to Sarah Jackson for your treatments...and the best massage I’ve ever had! Thank you Paul for being on board with us, and all of your help. ...I will definitely be raising a glass of wine tonight in memory of such a wonderful week, and especially to my dearest friend, fabulous teacher and outstanding cook.... Hilary! Until next year.... pilates peeps.. when Hilary and I will be doing it all again. So save the date!! 19-24th Sept. Further information coming next week! 🙏

Ahhh shucks Suzanne's comments on the Spanish retreat made me blush "An infectious mojo that you cannot but help adore her.

Putting 13 relative strangers together was expertly managed by Adele and it was a totally 100% positive vibe amongst the group. There were so many laughs around the pool, dining room table and whilst doing pilates as some of the proposed positions to get into where largely only achieved by Adele but by goodness did we have fun trying!"

"Amazing venue, great accommodation perfect for Pilates retreat: Amazing venue in a quiet valley with outstanding views, beautiful grounds and the accommodation is top class and the rooms large and comfortable. There are shared rooms and a few singles and it worked beautifully for our Pilates retreat. On a personal level, the organiser Kimberley, the manager, was fantastic - helpful, kind, patient and incredibly professional. I would highly recommend the entire package."

"A really special place. Nestled amid olive tree clad hills and surrounded by friendly, historic villages. The villa was delightful. Superbly equipped with masses of space.
