"እኛ የብርሀን ልጆች ነን!"

አዲሱ ዓመት ሊገባ ነው። የኢትዮጵያዊነታችን መገለጫ ዘመን መቁጠሪያችን ከአውሮፓውያን ዘመን አቆጣጠር የአመታት ልዩነት ያለው በመሆኑ ብቻ አይደለም የሚለየው። ዘመን የሚቀየርበት ወቅት [ወር] መለየት ጭምር ነው። እኛ ወራቶቻችንን 13 ስናደርሰውም በበርካታ ምስጢራት ነው።

የኛ ዘመን መቀየሪያው መስከረም 1 ቀን ጠዋት በብርሀን እንጂ በዋዜማው ሌሊት በጨለማ አለመሆኑን ደግመን ደጋግመን ማስታወስ አለብን። የሰዓት አቆጣጠራችን አንዱ መለያችን ነው። ነገር ግን በየዓዲስ አመቱ ዋዜማ አዲስ አመት እያልን ርችት የምንተኩሰው በዋዜማው ነው። የባህል ወረራ ማለት ይህ ነው። ቀስ ብለን ሰዓታችንን pm እና am ልናደርገው እንደምንችል አስጊ ምልክት ነው።

ለዋዜማው ድምቀት ርችቱም ልዩ ስነስርዓቱም ለበዓሉ ዓውድ መልካም ስሜት ሊፈጥር ይችላል። ግን አዲስ አመት ሊጠባ 6 ሰዓታት ሲቀሩን በእልልታ መስከረም ጠባ ማለት ምን ማለት ነው?

አደራችሁን እኩለ ሌሊት ላይ ልታስደስቱን ስትሞክሩ አዲስ ዓመት ገባ ብላችሁ ጨለማ ጋር አታፋጡን። እኛ የብርሀን ልጆች ነን!
