Roha Hotel is located in Lalibela Town, in the Amhara National Regional State, in the Northern part of Ethiopia about 701 km from Addis Ababa. The Hotel is currently built on large land area measuring 25,880 sq. Roha Hotel was initially established at the time of Emperor Haile Sellasie in 1976. Up until December 25, 2009, it was governed by the Government owned Ghion Hotels Enterprise. On December 26, 2009, the operational responsibility of Roha Hotel was transferred to Ayat Share Company.
