Many thanks to our world's best passengers 🙏☺️🛳️ - thanks to you, the most popular ship on the Tallinn-Helsinki route in 2024 was MS Finlandia, chosen by 26% of all passengers. MS Finbo Cargo, sailing on the Muuga-Vuosaari route, carried a record of 201 thousand passengers, diverting a large part of Eckerö Line's freight and heavy goods traffic away from the Tallinn's city center. Delightful numbers come from the Port of Tallinn's press release.

In 2024, a total of 8.2 million passengers passed through the ports operated by the Port of Tallinn, marking a 3.6% increase compared to the previous year.

This announcement is for pedestrians and cyclists in the immediate vicinity of Jätkäsaari bridge 🚲🚶
Due to the bridge renovation in Jätkäsaari, the pedestrian and cycling path on the Hietalahti side of Jätkäsaarenlaituri is temporarily closed.
The detour route past the construction site is as follows:
Pedestrians: via Sinikaislansilta
Pedestrians and Cyclists: via Laivapojansilta and along Laivapojankatu.
If you are traveling to or from the West Harbour on foot or by bicycle, please take this into account.
Motor vehicles and trams can pass through the construction site without interruption throughout the renovation.

The square will be transformed into a true fairy-tale land and the city's most beautiful Christmas tree can be seen glowing in the middle of the square – a tradition that goes back 580 years.
