Let's celebrate Helsinki's Birthday together. Check top 4 places open today for publics:

1. Observatory, Kopernikuksentie 1
There is an Astronomical public center which is part of the University Museum of the Finnish capital. The Helsinki
Observatory opens new views on the past, present and future of astronomy. In the observatory you can not only hear thematic lectures, but also visit the planetarium and
interactive exhibitions.

2. Museum of the Theater, Tallberginkatu 1
The museum holds collections of theater
requisites from the 1880s to the present day - stage costumes, models
of scenery and theatrical props. Here you can turn into an actor, an illuminator, an operator or a
director - there are a lot of interactive exhibits in the museum. You can wear many costumes and take a picture of them. There is also puppet theater, where you can
independently manage puppets yourself.

3. Open Air Museum, Seurasaari
Museum of wooden architecture - beautiful wooden buildings, household items, crafts in the natural
environment, which have survived to this day. Every house has their own history - You can also visit the house where the Emperor Alexander I spent the night. The pearl of the island is certainly the church of Karuna, fine example of
wooden architecture. The church was built in 1886. A separete story is the squirrels living on the
island. They will come to you and will gladly take food from their hands.

4. Didrichsen Art Museum, Kuusilahdenkuja 1
The museum is located in a former private villa. Including the works of such masters as Axeli
Gallen-Kallela, Pekka Halonen, Pablo Picasso, Karl-Henningen Pedersen, Anthony Tapies and
now has the most significant collection of works by the sculptor Henry Moore. Here you can see
permanent exhibitions of collections from Asia, exhibits of the pre-Columbian period, as well as in
the sculpture park - masterpieces from Finland and other countries.

In the end of the day spoil yourself with joying "Eat together" event on Pohjoisesplanadi.

WeeGee-talo was designed by Finnish architect Aarno Ruusuvuori. It is now the largest exhibition centre in Finland.
