Keep the Archipelago Tidy - Pidä Saaristo Siistinä ry - is an association aiming to keep the archipelago and coastline clean. By recycling waste, cleaning beaches and islands as well as taking care of eutrophication, the association provides us with an even nicer and cleaner archipelago.

Remember that everyone can contribute to a cleaner archipelago: no littering, septic tank cleaning only in proper places, no dishwashing agents in the seawater etc. Do your bit now - you’ll thank yourself in the future.

Many harbours in the archipelago of Pargas and Kimitoön are responsible. A Seal flag waving on the flagpole tells you that the harbour in question is doing its part to ensure a cleaner environment.

The Finnish Archipelago is a mix of water and land. It is a unique place, definitely worth a visit. Here are some of the unique things about us:

⭐️ We are the largest archipelago in the world by the number of islands and skerries.

⭐️ We have a lot of nature, that you can enjoy freely. It's called Everyman's Rights.

⭐️ It's easier than you think to travel here. The yellow ferries take you from one island to another and are easy to use.

⭐️ Red boathouses are a common sight along the coastline.

⭐️ It is a very clean and safe place.

⭐️ You'll always find a peaceful place somewhere. Listen to the silence or to the waves as they hit the shore.
