SUNCHASER Trounced Swan European Regatta 2023☀️ We won all race courses and Swan European Trophy and best Sparkman & Stephens Swan prize. SUNCHASER got honoured Best-maintained Nautor Swan boat. Thanks to our Crew which was best presented during the regatta.

SUNCHASER leads Swan European Regatta results after race 1 & 2 and won both courses.

She is back in business and eager to start final course R3 ☀️

”The SUN” Kite under service.
This kite is still in action 2023 and will be seen next week Swan European Regatta.

First know photo of this kite shoot in 1973 SORC Nassau Bahamas.

Credits to passed Richard Owen – a member, who originally made this beauty orange/yellow/sunburst spinnaker in early 70’s. Loft owned by SFYC member named Alan “Punkie” Mitchell who passed away many years ago. He was based in Sausalito CA and a great sailmaker – I believe he ultimately sold his loft to North Sails (still in Sausalito today).

All sails Measured by Myron Spaulding who was a sailing legend the San Francisco Bay Area and owned a boatyard in Sausalito – yard is still in operation .

Not sure if there has been 2 of these beauties and this is branded by . I think this sail is maybe out of warranty.

Gotland Runt Offshore race 2023 starts today from Stockholm.
I will take part of race as a crew member of Xanthippe, Baltic 43.
It will be bumby ride for next days as there is expected high waves and winds +20m/ s ( +40knots )
