The first handmade paper workshop in 2023 was held last Sunday at Pinecrest Villa. Everyone immersed themselves in the art of paper making, surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Last year, Ecoyard concentrated on utilizing two nearby plants, reeds and Japanese notwed together Paper mulberry fiber to create various paper arts in the environmental friendly ways. The journey is still continuing ......
By the end of the workshop, attendees proudly held in their hands a collection of unique handmade papers, but without any additional energy and chemical suppies. The seaside is continuously covered with reeds. Although the reeds give you a sense of tranquility and harmony, once a large number of reeds fall on the beach in spring, it is still a headache to clean up. The handmade reed paper is made without using extra energy and adding extra chemicals.
