We provide free transportation service for visitors who buy their day tickets online.

📍 The pick up point is in the Rovaniemi town centre, next to Rinne shopping centre, on the street Poromiehentie. On Google Maps the bus stop is named Porokulma E.

📍 Another pick up point is at Santa Claus Village, at the parking lot next to Santa’s Pizza & Burger

❌ The bus doesn’t collect passengers from other addresses

🗓️ The day tickets with transportation must be booked latest on the previous day of your visit to Kotatieva.

✅ Book your transportation at the same time with your tickets on www.kotatieva.fi.

🕥 Choose the suitable time option for your transportation and please remember the times cannot be changed or mixed afterwards.

Amazing guests in Kotatieva today. There was people from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia at the same time ice skating in the forest track. What an opening day for the season. Great to meet you all from all around the world, we had a blast!!

We’re excited to announce that the park will open tomorrow at 10am and close at 3am.

🦌🦌Lumi and Loimu have settled in well at Kotatieva and now eagerly run to the fence when we approach with food. We also have free-roaming reindeer visiting our park daily, adding even more magic to the experience!

🦌🦌They have arrived at their new home and are already settling in! Meet Lumi and Loimu, our reindeer. Let’s give them some time to adjust to their new surroundings. ❤️❤️

Many of you have been asking about the opening of our skating track. Our planned opening date is December 7th, but we are working hard to open earlier. However, safety comes first, and we want to ensure the track is ready for everyone to enjoy. ⛸️

We have been asked a lot about our opening and we are almost ready to open so here is information for our upcoming visitors.
- after opening, we are open daily between 10AM-3PM until 23.03.2025
- our winter park don't have any limitations for activities or how much time you can spend in the park, except our opening hours.
- all equipment like ice-skates, helmets and sleds are included
- all our activities except sauna and hot tub is included in day ticket, those can be booked separately
- When selecting the free transport option it guarantees a seat in our bus, but of course you can use car or taxi to prolong your visit in Kotatieva.
- We have a cafe-restaurant onsite where you can relax with lunch between activities or purchase sausages and marshmallows to cook in our shelter and camp fire
- Our reindeers, Lumi and Loimu are available for feeding and pictures
So sit tight, we will inform our opening date here as soon as we can guarantee that the ice is safe for everyone to enjoy, it will be soon...
