If you book a tour through us, please let me know if you have been prevented from coming. It is not fair to our horses to wait equipped for "no show" customers.

Our horses are always happy to go on a trip with you - regardless of the rain, sunshine or frost.

🇫🇮 Today is Finland’s Independence Day 🇫🇮 Finland gained independence in 1917 and Finnhorse has been an important part of keeping that independence. In Winter War (1939-1940) there were up to 72 000 Finnhorses serving in the war, and 45 000 in the Continuation War (1941-1944). Finnhorses were used to haul equipment like cannons, ammunition and food and also take wounded soldiers back from the front lines. They were an irreplaceable asset since they were quiet compared to cars and could pass terrains that a car never could have. Most horses were taken to serve from common people like farmers and many horses never made it back home.
