We are Wild About Lapland, a lead company that provides high-quality tours and experiences to travelers and small groups in Rovaniemi, the capital town of Finnish Lapland and home town of Santa Claus. We are passionate about sharing our lifestyle and teaching about life in the Arctic. Our main goal in Wild About Lapland is to provide tours that allow all individuals to experience exactly what they wish for, whether it be to experience the Northern lights, learn how to ice fish, take a reindeer ride, meet Santa or simply explore the Taiga forests.

We avoid mass tourism, and limit all our excursion to a maximum of 8 people per group. This allows us to have a closer relation to our guests and experience the silence and serenity of the real Lapland nature. Our tours have been tailored in a way that our guests get an authentic experience of Lapland and enjoy true local activities.

Our guides not only have years of experience but they are passionate about sharing their skills and knowledge with others. They also have a strong understanding of the impact we are having on this wonderful world of ours and love to share some of the ways we can help and be kinder to our surroundings.

Our Philosophy : Quality before Quantity

We concentrate on providing quality tours for small groups, reducing our impact on the world and enjoying the beautiful serenity we have here in Rovaniemi, the Finnish Lapland. In all our excursions, we limit our groups to 8 guests maximum so that we all can enjoy a real experience of the Arctic. We will NEVER embrace mass tourism.
