The Archipelago Trail, Finland
Have you ever heard of the Archipelago Trail in Finland? It’s a magnificent 250-kilometer-long route located in the Turku Archipelago offering beautiful island and sea views and unforgettable experiences. ☀️🚴♂️
From island to island you’ll travel via bridges or by ferries. You can choose the most suitable vehicle for you: Is it a boat, bike, motorbike, car or bus? Or maybe you would like to travel the trail on foot. There are plenty of options and you can also combine these. In addition to the Achipelago Trail there’s also the Small Achipelago Trail, which length is 120 kilometers. Turku goes Underground
Turku Goes Underground: Now it’s possible to visit archaeological excavation site and experience medieval Turku!
The pop up museum “Turku goes Underground” will present the ruins of the houses, which were destroyed in the Great Fire of Turku in 1827. The location of these ruins are under the gymnasium of the Katedralskolan School.
Guided tours can be explored in Finnish, Swedish and English from 12th June to 26th June. Welcome to Turku to explore the history of the city! Registration for these tours has begun last week and there's only few places left so hurry up if you wish to attend!
