As the evenings are quickly turning darker, yesterday´s Friday evening guided sea kayaking trip from Satava in Turku was the last guarantee evening trip for this season. It was very nice to end with this very nice group in beautiful autumn colors. Joplin, our furriest assisting guide, decided to join this trip. Our full day guided tours, multiday tours and private guided tours are still available for a few more weeks, and now the most busy coaching and courses weeks for private groups have started.

Wind and waves, sun, calm sea, silent foggy mornings and beautiful northern lights on the agenda on two different guided three day Hidden Gems of the Archipelago National Park sea kayaking expeditions this week. The archipelago at its best!

We had a beautiful evening kayaking trip in the Finnish Archipelago, Turku, with a four persons guided group today. And some deep water rescue practicses for the keenest water lovers in the end.

Warm and beautiful days in the Finnish archipelago. The last few days Aavameri has had a lot of self-guided expeditions out and our Guided Day Tours from Satava in Turku have been nicely filled with happy paddlers.

Ben and Angus, two adventure-minded friends out on a five day self-guided expedition with Aavameri, returned back home with beautiful memories despite some harsh weather two of the days. The small hatchling seen on one photo, a Common Merganser downball, recognized the kayak as its mother and quickly climbed up on it, but was later convinced to go to join its real mother again.
