Bula all.. a significant change to protocols has just been updated - https://www.mcttt.gov.fj/home/traveltofiji/international-travel/ Now, the in country test can be done within 72 hours - ie anytime from arrival to 72 hours. So, our advice to tourists will be to take personal responsibility and test themselves at home prior to departure, especially if they have any symptoms. Once in Fiji, they can then test as early as practical, and then enjoy their stay! For anyone already booked, no change, they simply can take the test when convenient from moment of arrival. Note, no change to the booking process via entrytestfiji.com

FIJI OH SO EASY!

Travelling to Fiji just keeps getting easier! From May 1, travelers will no longer need to complete a PCR or RAT test before leaving their home countries.
All you need to show at check-in is proof of full vaccination for all travelers aged 16 years and older, travel insurance and a pre-booked RAT test for when you're in Fiji.
Your arrival RAT test must be pre-booked for between 48-72 hours of arrival into Fiji.

We wanted to reiterate this to everyone from Tourism Fiji

For Australia, PCR tests can be done at 96 hours before departure. Please look at your testing protocols and work with your testing providers. Please ensure that people are being swabbed AS CLOSE TO 96 hours before their flight time as possible.

This will help to alleviate any backlogs at the testing centres and ensure guests get their results in good time and that collectively we are able to respond to situations without timings being critical.
